Lorde Slams 'Systemic Brutality By Police' as Racist

Lorde is supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and the protests across the world against police brutality against black men and women. She sent out a note to her followers explaining her position and offering support. Lorde said she found the "performative activism, predominately by white celebrities (like me)…frustrating,” and added “that white silence right
